We chose to go to Las Vegas for spouse’s 70th birthday. We are outdoor enthusiasts and had never been to Red Rock National Forest outside of Las Vegas. Gorgeous day and loved seeing the iron that made the rocks so fire red in color. Surprisingly the Palm cacti were thriving in spite of no water and all the others had long since died.
