On our way to the Jemaa El Fna souq we passed the impressive Koutoubia Mosque. I’ve seen many pictures of it in preparation of our trip, but standing so close to it I could almost feel the history of this building. The stones had been battered by time but the mosque was standing proud and tall as ever.
