To make this image, I used a combination of black and gold alcohol inks, along with some isopropyl alcohol on a non-absorptive paper. I started by adding a priming amount of isopropyl alcohol to the center of the paper. Before it could dry (which happens in an instant), I added a few drops of black ink, followed by gold. I took this photo as they were drying.
