I was just leaving the Metropolitan Museum, tired and hungry, when I saw the line of food carts just waiting for “customers”. I could remember my sister, who lives in the town, saying many times “do not eat junk food, avoid food carts” and so on, repeating what my mother used to say to her. Forget it. The food is great when you are hungry and cold, and is part of the trip experience. After meeting her again, and asked if I ate junk food, I lied on the spot.
