The woman in this photo is actually my bartender while I am hanging out at my favorite watering hole. It took me some time to convince her to model for me. She said she was not pretty enough to be a model. It took some doing on my part to convince her, and she agreed. I am so glad she did! The shot was taken in the shade of several trees, but we had some bright sunlight in the background. To keep that from blowing out, and to darken the trees in the background a bit, I used a 600WS studio flash and a large softbox.
