This colonial mansion turned office was my base in Cap Haitian, Haiti for several months, and I never noticed its beauty until the very last day of my assignment. I snapped a few photos to take away as mementos and was surprised by the lush, tropical feel they evoked. It’s a reminder to me to look around more often, and look up in particular.
