Thor's Well is a natural wonder located on Cape Perpetua, Oregon, just over 3 miles south of Yachats. Also known as the "drainpipe of the Pacific" or the "gate to hell", Thor's Well is a hole in the rock that appears to drain water from the ocean. The well is named after Thor, the Norse God of thunder and lightning.
