A sad weekend after attending a funeral of a very old RAF buddy. Lincolnshire is “Bomber Country” in the UK an littered with old RAF Airfields, so to clear my head, I went exploring. This room was part of an old Barracks I found, the only light was the thin shaft coming from the roof. I had to sit on the floor in near total darkness hoping that my hands wouldn’t shake for a near half second exposure. The natural light bought out so much colour and atmosphere. If only the room could talk!
