Union Pacific Steam Engine 2564 built in 1921 by American Locomotive Co.-Brooks Works, retired 1955, weight: 300,000 lbs. Driving wheel diameter: 63". This coal-burning steam locomotive was originally built for Union Pacific subsidiary Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad. In 1923 it was traded to UP-controlled Oregon Short Line where it acquired the number 2564. It served throughout Idaho and northern Utah until 1955 in long-haul freight and local passenger service.
