While on a trip to Rättvik in Dalarna, Sweden, I wanted to take photos of this giant jetty. I knew about it and wanted to take really awesome pictures of it. It was built in 1895 for steamships roaming the big lake in the middle of Sweden. The ships were removed in the middle of 1950 but the jetty was kept alive. It was renovated in 1992 and all of the planks used in the construction are owned by different people who have also signed ever single plank.
