I took this photo as part of the “Where in Georgetown” feature in the newspaper I work for. Yes, I am a writer even though I ended that sentence with a preposition. This bridge was built in 1922 and was replaced by a concrete overpass in 1987. It’s essentially condemned but is potentially ready for the historical register.
