Findlater Castle is perched on the north eastern coast of Scotland, barely signposted and rarely visited despite the splendour and beauty of the place. When we arrived for sunrise the whole area was deserted, and a nuclear sky soon gave way to a much more Scottish blanket of dramatic cloud to mirror the crashing waves.
