statue of man in black coat

A statue memorializing Belfast's native son Lord Kelvin (born as William Thomson) who was an instrumental natural philosopher, scientist, and mathematician in the 19th Century. His name is most commonly used in connection with the Kelvin temperature scale that starts with absolute zero, but he also was instrumental in the development of the theory of electromagnetism (Sep., 2021).
