Tiong Bahru is a hipster neighbourhood in Singapore that is famous for its distinct apartment buildings that were built during Singapore’s colonial rule by the British. I was looking to shoot some photos of famous murals in the area, when I stumbled upon this view of the back of a building. I love how symmetrical the building was, and yet how different each half was at the same time. It felt like playing a “spot the difference” game between the two halves.
