An Antoni de Witt masterpiece dd 1899. The towering moulded gables rest on a balustrade pediment above the decoratively plastered façade. The front is somewhat spoiled by the display windows on the ground floor which were set back in the 1980’s to accommodate future road widening. Still one of Paarl’s most imposing buildings.
